Beadon Farm is home to a herd of the finest pedigree Gloucester Old Spot pigs.
Just inside the Dartmoor National Park, but sheltered from the harsher weather of the high moor, the land at Beadon is free draining and grows good grass on sandy topsoil which overlays granite-filled subsoil.
It's just the kind of land that lends itself to the outdoor rearing of pigs, and to the health and contentment of the Beadon herd.
Beadon farms non-intensively and do as much as possible to maintain high standards of animal welfare, and with respect too, for the surrounding environment and landscape.
