Heather Lamb is available from August - October.  Whole or half lamb supplied, or individual cuts as ordered.

Bowden farm has been in the Ashford family since 1958, where they naturally rear 100% Organic livestock. 

The farm nestles on the southern slopes of Dartmoor, with all of the lamb naturally reared to British Soil Association standards, which means there are no artificial fertilisers or chemicals used on the land, and no genetically modified or chemically extracted ingredients used in the feed. The animals enjoy the highest welfare standards, and for those of you familiar with Dartmoor, you will understand when we tell you that they are all genuinely free-range!

Dartmoor has long been recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty, and is also an area that has been carefully maintained and managed for the production and rearing of healthy livestock that's bred for its quality and flavour.  Organic farming ensures that not only is high quality and flavoursome meat produced, but that by keeping everything as natural as possible, without any chemical interference, the natural characteristics of Dartmoor are maintained.
