 Minute , or min-ute , these steaks , weighing about .175gm are cut from the sweetest chuck or from the top- rump .they are very popular for a quick , light meal ; literally cooking in a hot pan in 30 secs a side .

They are also well used for stir-fry , cutting easily into strips and cooking more quickly than the vegetables . In the Summer we sell packets already cut for this purpose .

Some customers like these cut either as steak thickness or into cubes for the lightest of all casseroles ; just be sure to tell us in good time as the meat is cut on Tuesdays .

We have fun with the naming of these , cooking as they do in 30 secs a side and also being minute .
