Our Produce – Beef – Lean Ground Beef
⁄ £12, and £10 per kilo coarse and fine
Our ground beef is so called because it is just that. Although labelled as mince, all three versions are pure beef and will not shrink with cooking. The lean version is taken from the chuck , is very low in fat and will cook quickest of the three.
The coarse and fine are the same meat, ground once for spaghetti or chilli, or twice for using as burgers, or cottage pie, or lasagne, or stuffed vegitables.
A favourite for the bed-sit or family supper.
